Crochet/Knit items donated:
In 2013, we donated a total of 108 crochet or knit items! There were a total of 36 adult hats, 65 baby hats, and 7 blankets donated. Items went to (CRMC) Cookeville Regional Medical Center Cancer Center and CRMC-OB department. This doesn’t include all the Knit for Kid items sent off. This is amazing since we only started expanding our group in November, except for Knit for Kids which has been going on for several years. In the past there were also donations to a Nashville Project Linus Group.

Items went to CRMC Cancer Center, CRMC OB department, member-for sick friend, Knit for Kids, Livingston Regional-OB department, HHLC Angel Tree, and HHLC babies in mother’s day out program.
So far, in 2015, we have donated 179 crochet or knit items and our totals are 40 adult hats, 91 child hats, 40 baby hats, 5 blankets, 1 Sweater, and 2 pair of booties donated. We are currently continuing to make items for our usual drop sites. Some of the ladies are working on darker/camo hats for the military. Knit for Kids items will be collected in the fall and mailed out. If you crochet or knit we have extra patterns, needles, or hooks if you need them. Thanks to all the hard working ladies!
We keep a small stock of items on hand so if you have a need please contact us and let us know. Our group gladly accepts donations of yarn throughout the year. We also accept monetary donations (please specify LWML crochet/knit group) to help buy items needed or pay for postage for the Knit for Kids mailing.
